Office Space.
Our current office space is as follows:
- In an out of the way location, with no amenities nearby
- No natural light on any desks
- Not enough desks for the team
- Less that 2 powerpoints per person
- Noisy (near a "test desk" team constantly on the phone to engineers)
- Absolutely stinks
Now I'm not saying I expect a Clerkenwell office with beanbag chairs, a pool table and a bar (although it would be nice), but please. I mean, just a nice space. With natural light. And a desk each, with enough power (I personally think that at least 3 powerpoints per person is the very least. Remember people working at Fog Creek now get TEN each). I mean, this stuff just isn't much to ask for. Is it? Am I completely out of line??
I'm going to try an office space revolution. Updates as and when anything interesting happens
